Cajun Red Rock

It’s been 4 years since I last saw Neree, a college roommate. So when she said she was free one Holiday aftee, I texted my other college roommates though only Cessy was available.

Neree came with Coco, her boyfriend for more than 6 years and cessy and I came together since we live in the same area. When we got to Megamall, I suddenly can’t reach Neree and Cessy was separated from me since she needs to go somewhere. So I contacted Coco (good thing his number is still the same) and was able to tell Neree where we can meet.

Cessy insisted we eat at Cajun Red Rock, Megamall (for some reason I can’t disclose).  It was a located at a corner near All Flip flops, a store where we usually buy Havs. So I was curious what they serve there til that day I came across their food. And I was definitely not disappointed.

They have quite expensive drinks. At first I thought “should I order one? a bit lavish for a drink and I dunno if it tastes good,” but Cessy was proudly claiming how good each drink tastes. So we did.

We ended up ordering Tony’s Special and Long Island -Sounds like hard drinks? nope, they’re definitely not.  Plus, both are refreshing. A must try!

Looking at the Menu, they have a lot to choose from. Meat, Pasta, Rice dishes… Since each of us have different bets and most dishes are good for 2-3 persons, we let each one choose a dish and share it with everybody.

Neree chose the Roasted Garlic Shrimp Pasta. Creamy and oily, but the fusion of the ingredients really made my tongue crave to taste more.

The shrimps are also scrumptious,  a good dish for shrimp and garlic lovers.

We also got Buffalo Wings and their Bountiful Platter Feast. The wings are a bit spicy so Coco was not able to eat a lot, but the Platter set is delightful!

It has 3 types of meat dishes- there was one with white sauce, another with somewhat barbecue sauce  and then there’s this one sauteed with bell peppers and spices.

(Sorry for the pics, I wasn’t able to bring my cam so I used my phone instead) All these were too much for us. Got to take home a bit of the platter and the buffalo wings.  Happy tummy 🙂
